At Forest Heights Community School we like to provide our students with the opportunity to participate in school dances. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all we ask that students comply with the following guidelines:
Students shall not use drugs or alcohol prior to or while attending the dance.
Students may only sign in one guest per dance, and are responsible for the behaviors of their guest.
Emergency contact information must be provided for all guests.
All guests must be signed in 48 hours prior to the dance.
All guests must be approved by administration. If your guest is not approved, administration will try to notify you before the dance.
All guests must have picture ID.
Doors will close ½ hour after the start of the dance.
Once a participant leaves the designated areas for the dance, they will no longer be permitted back into the dance.
All students must enter through the main dance entrance.
All students and their possessions are subject to search by administration or designates.
Students are not permitted to allow others into the dance through alternate entrances.
Be respectful to staff, students and other participants.
Students are asked to behave in an appropriate manner for a school environment.
Students found to be in violation of the guidelines will face consequences which may include, but are not limited to, being asked to leave the dance, not being permitted to attend the following dance or dances, and may face further consequences in accordance with school and board policies.
